About the event
Coming off the back of headlining Ronnie Scott's Late Show and The Vortex Jazz Club, Jay Verma is a London-born South Asian pianist and songwriter, renowned for a rare and distinctive pianism that has led to collaborations with Ganavya, SAULT, Cleo Sol, Olivia Dean, among others.
Influenced by the tradition of musical storytelling, Jay blends piano-led composition with vocal narratives, drawing subtle lines between jazz improvisation, film scores and narrative hip-hop.
Jay is set to announce an upcoming project in 2026, citing influences including Keith Jarrett, Randy Newman, Sullivan Fortner and John Williams.
